Position Title - Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Exciting Opportunity for Sit-Down Forklift Operators in Edgerton, KS!


We are seeking a experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a physically demanding temporary assignment supporting the handling of high-value vehicles such as motorcycles, 4Runners, and units larger than standard cars. Pay: $20.50 per hour

Work Hours: Thursday - Saturday, 5:00am-5:30pm

Position Summary:

As a Sit-Down Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving and staging large and high-value vehicles and materials. Your expertise in forklift operation, attention to detail, and commitment to safety are critical to ensuring efficient and damage-free handling of sensitive loads.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport large vehicles and parts.
• Handle motorcycles, SUVs, and similar large automotive units with care and precision.
• Follow strict safety and operational guidelines.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Assist with general warehouse support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive sit-down forklift operation experience required (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Proven ability to handle oversized or high-value items with care.
• Strong physical stamina - this is a physically demanding position.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Skills Required:

• Exceptional forklift handling and maneuvering skills.
• Familiarity with automotive or high-value goods logistics preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and safety awareness.

Physical Requirements:
