As a Lockheed Martin employee, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in an environment that values integrity and excellence.THE WORK• Develop and refine assembly processes, incorporating Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiencyand reduce cost.• Write concise, complete process instructions andproduction documentation, ensuring alignment withengineering drawings and models.• Collaborate with production, design engineering,procurement, program management, andmanufacturing personnel to address productionchallenges and recommend solutions.• Investigate production problems, evaluate materials, and propose modifications to processes or tooling toenhance quality and meet manufacturing conditions.• Design and assist in the development of tooling,including concepts for welding, brazing, painting, and finishing operations where applicable.• Operate and program automated equipment, andutilize cranes, lifts, and hoists to support assembly of large structures, wiring, cabling, coax, fiber optics, and soldering to IPC J Std.• Lead training initiatives, independently instructingand mentoring personnel on new processes andexperimental work to drive cost reductions and quality improvements.• Apply Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) andstandard Microsoft Office tools to support processdevelopment and data analysis.Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Employee's in this role typically have 2 to 5 years of professional experience.WHO WE AREOur customers are world-wide and so is our reputation for creating innovative solutions with the latest technologies.
