Job Title

Registered Nurse – Step Down / Oncology (ENT / Colorectal / Urology)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a surgical oncology setting, including ENT, colorectal, and urology patient populations
• Manage care for step down patients requiring an elevated level of monitoring and intervention
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 on day shifts and 1:6 on night shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for oncology and post-surgical patients
• Monitor and assess patient status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, including 3x12 or 4x12 scheduling
• Experience in an oncology or surgical nursing environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in surgical oncology, including ENT, colorectal, or urology specialties
• Experience caring for step down or intermediate-acuity patients
• Familiarity with post-operative care protocols and oncology treatment considerations
