Job Description Neurology Subspecialist opening - Cooperstown, NY Located at base of the Adirondack Mountains*Seeking a full-time Neurologist to build a sub-specialized practice in one of the following areas: Neuromuscular, Seizure, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or Headache.* Position Details: Full-time, permanent Hospital employed Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in specialty Mostly in-person outpatient clinics with opportunities for some remote tele-neurology. Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching IM Residents and Medical Students Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester Very limited call; 2-4 days per month Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population EMR-EPIC Salary Range: $240,000 - $340,000. This compensation range represents good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards Health system offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
