Lead Cardiovascular Sonographer*

Lead Cardiovascular Sonographer Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting a Lead Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms. The incumbent will explain procedures, obtain informed consent, review and store ultrasound images, prepare patients and equipment, and monitor patients before, during, and after testing. Responsibilities Perform transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Explain procedures and obtain informed consent from patients. Review, select, and store ultrasound images. Prepare patients and equipment, and monitor patients before, during, and after testing. Qualifications Adult Echocardiography certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Health Care Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. At least three (3) years of recent cardiovascular sonography experience within the past five (5) years, including a minimum of one (1) year in an acute care setting and two (2) years in a hospital or ambulatory setting. Experience as a lead or supervising cardiovascular sonographer is desirable. Willingness to work on‑call shifts, weekends, and holidays. Benefits Excellent benefits package offered.
