Phlebotomist Site Coordinator

Job Information Location: 9191 Westminster Blvd., Garden Grove, CA 92844. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., with rotating Saturdays. Position may be located at a Patient Service Center or Client office. Job Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collecting payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent California state-issued Phlebotomy license (CPT) Preferred Qualifications Associate degree 2 years or more of experience as phlebotomist 1 year or more of experience in a supervisory role Bilingual with proficiency in Vietnamese, Spanish, and English Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may meet license requirement Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment 1 year or more phlebotomist experience with pediatric patients Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record Flexibility to work overtime as needed Exceptional customer service Pay Range $23.00 – $40.13 per hour Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan for employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week 401(k) Plan participation for employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary staff All benefits except PTO or FTO for employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule Incentive Bonus Program Phlebotomist Site Coordinator may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
