Medical AssistantWe are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in the STI Clinic by preparing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with routine clinical procedures. Responsibilities include:Prepare patients and examination rooms for appointments.Perform venipuncture, blood draws, specimen collection, and injections.Assist clinicians with examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments.Document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR).Record lab results and maintain accurate medical records.Provide patient education materials and support patient flow.Requirements include:High school diploma or GED.Certificate of Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant training program.At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, including venipuncture and administering injections or vaccines.Experience using electronic medical records.Valid Arizona driver's license or ability to obtain one by the time of hire.Preferred Qualifications include:2+ years of Medical Assistant experience.National Medical Assistant certification.Bilingual English/Spanish skills.Additional Information:Background check required; no drug screening.
