Maintenance Manager – Shelbyville, TN The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the longevity and efficiency of our manufacturing operations through the development and implementation of maintenance strategies, procedures, and teams. The role combines technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to uphold operational excellence. Your Responsibilities Design, implement, and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team, fostering professional growth, efficiency, and collaboration. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and address equipment and facility‑related challenges; drive initiatives that reduce downtime and improve productivity. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, monitoring expenditures and implementing cost‑saving measures without compromising quality or safety. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and proactive risk management. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and ensure their consistent application throughout the plant. Expectations Achieve and maintain best‑in‑class equipment reliability and uptime, significantly reducing unscheduled downtime and increasing overall plant productivity. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance management system that serves as a benchmark within the industry. Deliver measurable reductions in maintenance costs through strategic planning and efficient resource allocation. Cultivate a high‑performing, engaged maintenance team recognized for expertise, innovation, and commitment to operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Minimum eight years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least three years in a management or supervisory role. Experience in the automotive sector is highly desirable. Certifications in Maintenance Management, Reliability Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related fields are advantageous.
