Pediatric Gastroenterologist with expertise in gut motility

The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a Gastroenterologist with expertise in gut motility at the rank of Associate (non-track), Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. The selected individual will join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology and Nutrition to provide patient care, teaching and consultative services primarily at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and at established outreach clinics across the State of Iowa. Responsibilities Provide patient care in pediatric gastroenterology. Deliver teaching to medical students and residents. Offer consultative services to colleagues and institutions. Participate in research and scholarly activity. Engage in outreach clinics across Iowa. Qualifications MD/DO degree or equivalent. Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics, or equivalent. Board certified or eligible in gastroenterology, or equivalent. License or eligibility for licensure in the State of Iowa. Clinical experience in pediatric gastroenterology. Completed specialized training in motility and/or proficiency in performing motility procedures. Experience in patient-oriented research. Teaching competence in pediatrics for medical students and residents. Evidence of scholarly activity. Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
