Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician you will deliver exceptional primary care within our rural/underserved track for Creighton East Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in Maricopa, Arizona. To be successful in this role, you will be board certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician.You will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a dedication to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients. Outpatient + Inpatient teaching service coverage and/or Family Medicine Obstetrics Outpatient Mon-Fri days with dedicated non-clinical teaching time per ACGME requirements Flexibility to work 4 longer days or 5 regular Call is 1:4 or less (by telephone only with residents being first call) Outpatient: 16 patient-facing hours, 16 precepting hours, 4 admin hours, 4 teaching hours per week Inpatient: Every 4th week or less frequently, 1 week at a time x 7 days with compensation days provided (No outpatient duties during inpatient week or post-inpatient compensation days) Avg 18-24 patients per day on outpatient days Great MA support + RN onsite Academic appointment at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix-Open rank based on prior experience and academic output Teaching Medical students, Physician Assistant Students, and other learners.
