Hospital Coding Specialist

To support the Patient Revenue Management Organization, the full-time remote Hospital Coding Specialist will conduct data analysis, manage performance improvement initiatives, and enhance physician documentation accuracy while collaborating with various teams to drive operational and financial success. Key Responsibilities Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making Serve as project manager for strategic initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking project progress Support physician documentation initiatives by analyzing clinical data and developing educational materials Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business or health-related field Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 3 years in performance/process improvement Experience leading work teams is required Coding experience, preferably inpatient, is highly preferred Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, or CCS are preferred
