Sales Development Representative (SDR) — SaaS / Cyber & AI

• Location: Short Hills, NJ (Hybrid · 4 days in office, 1 day remote)
• Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
• Compensation: $32-$38/hr (Equivalent to $66K–$79K Base + Commission)

About the Role

PrideStaff has partnered with a high-growth AI security & enterprise software firm in Short Hills, NJ to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) .

You will drive top-of-funnel pipeline by prospecting target enterprise accounts and qualifying inbound leads. This role is ideal for an ambitious sales professional looking to break into the AI/Cybersecurity space and rapidly promote into an Account Executive (closing) role.

What You’ll Do

• Outbound Prospecting: Research target accounts and engage key decision-makers via phone, cold email, and LinkedIn.
• Inbound Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound inquiries/RFPs and route qualified opportunities to Account Executives.
• Pipeline Creation: Partner with Sales Leadership to map target accounts and achieve monthly meeting quotas.
• CRM Management: Track daily touchpoints, follow-ups, and lead stages in the CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).

What You Need

• 2+ years of SDR/BDR or outbound B2B sales experience (SaaS/Tech experience preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on consultative discovery.
• Resilience, self-motivation, and comfort with high-volume phone outreach.
• Experience with CRMs and sales engagement tools (Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.) is a plus.
• Interest in AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise software.
