CREDIT OFFICER

Responsible for underwriting small and less complex commercial credits by performing due diligence, financial analysis, and preparing credit recommendation packages. Responsible for credit monitoring, maintenance, and backup support in the absence of Credit Associate and Credit Assistant, as needed. Major Responsibilities 70% - Prepare financial spreadsheets, perform financial analysis, utilize various bank programs for facility searches, and prepare preliminary credit recommendation packages for CAT I credits for review by a credit executive. Complete formal credit recommendation packages for CAT II and III credits. 20% - Manage, monitor, and maintain relationships with assigned accounts of a less complex nature. Obtain approval prior to the expiration of a credit facility. May have completed UBs training program. Require standard knowledge of cash flow, financial accounting, credit analysis, and documentation. Demonstrate ability to analyze corporate credit transactions. Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of experience.
