Senior Tax Manager (Itasca)

SNI Financial is partnered with a global company that is privately held and looking to hire a Sr. Tax Manager for its Itasca, IL headquarters. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for driving tax planning, compliance, reporting, and risk management while partnering with executive leadership to support strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. and international tax compliance, reporting, and ASC 740 tax provision processes.
• Develop and execute global tax strategies, including transfer pricing, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
• Manage tax audits, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations.
• Partner with finance and business leaders to align tax strategy with organizational goals.
• Mentor and develop the tax function while driving process improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of corporate tax experience with both U.S. and international tax exposure.
• Strong background in tax planning, compliance, ASC 740, FIN 48, transfer pricing, and cross‑border transactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred).
• Experience with ERP and tax systems such as Oracle or OneSource.
• CPA preferred with excellent communication, leadership, and business partnering skills.
