Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10.0 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience License: Valid New York Registered Nurse License Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Telemetry Experience Must-Have: - Strong critical thinking skills - Effective communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Description: Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, and drain placements. This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay. Interventional Radiology is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Registered nurses will be required to wear hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, in addition to other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas.
