Contracts Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Specialist for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting a high-volume commercial contract administration project in the financial services and technology environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong vendor contract, amendment, redline, and contract lifecycle management experience.

The Contracts Specialist will help update and standardize approximately 200 software vendor agreements within a time-sensitive project timeline. This opportunity offers the chance to work independently while collaborating with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and vendor stakeholders in a professional, fast-paced environment. The role is well suited for someone who enjoys organized contract execution, clear communication, and driving agreements through completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate outreach to software vendors to obtain contract amendments, with a focus on high-priority and high-value vendor relationships.
- Prepare contract amendments using approved legal templates and manage revisions through completion.
- Review and coordinate contract redlines with vendor legal and finance teams.
- Route agreements for electronic signature through DocuSign and/or Ironclad.
- Maintain accurate contract records, metadata, status trackers, and executed agreement documentation.
- Provide daily updates to internal procurement systems stakeholders and help resolve contract-related issues.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $50 to $60 per hour.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Duration: Approximately 9 weeks, estimated at 360 hours.
- Target Start Date: October 26, 2026.
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage commercial contract amendment projects involving a high volume of vendor agreements.
- Coordinate vendor outreach, follow-up, redline tracking, and electronic signature workflows.
- Maintain contract documentation, metadata, status reporting, and executed agreement records.
- Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and vendor teams to keep contract updates moving on schedule.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement operations, commercial contract administration, or commercial-focused paralegal work.
- Strong experience managing commercial contracts, amendments, redlines, and vendor communications.
- Proficiency with contract lifecycle management platforms.
- Experience using DocuSign and/or Ironclad for electronic signature and contract workflows.
- Familiarity with procurement systems such as Coupa and Oracle.
- Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of agreements, work independently, and meet aggressive deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ironclad experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting software vendor agreements or technology-related commercial contracts.
- Prior experience working on short-term, deadline-driven contract remediation or contract standardization projects.
