Duties

Help

• Serve as the Military Treatment Facility's Directives and Correspondence Manager.
• Conduct weekly command-wide directive (e.g. instructions, notices, and change transmittals dealing with day-to-day MTF operations including direct patient care) review to determine if instructions are current and necessary.
• Route directives electronically to applicable stakeholders and maintain status of directives via the directives database.
• Serve as the Command's Awards Program Coordinator for civilian and military awards to include facilitator of the awards boards.
• As the MTF's Forms Manager, develop and implement procedures and controls for standardized forms.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing the Civilian Drug-Free Workplace Program.
• Attend and maintain up-to-date training for Contract Verification System (CVS).

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative program management, such as managing correspondence and organizational forms, coordinating awards, and directing compliance for the Civilian Drug-Free Workplace Program.

OR

Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business or Secretarial.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages.
