Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC punch press machines to manufacture sheet metal components.
- Review blueprints, work orders, drawings, and specifications before production.
- Select, install, and align punches, dies, and tooling; perform tooling changes and adjustments.
- Load and unload sheet metal; verify machine programs and make minor adjustments.
- Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and other equipment; verify dimensions, hole locations, and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, or quality issues; deburr and finish parts when required.
- Complete production documentation and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years operating and setting up CNC punch press equipment (required).
- Experience in a sheet metal or precision manufacturing environment.
- Ability to independently perform setups and tooling changes.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and dimensional tolerances.
- Preferred: Amada, Trumpf, Murata, or similar equipment; aluminum and stainless experience; minor CNC program edits; aerospace/defense background.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm
