The Opportunity

We're seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) engineering—particularly in HVAC design—to take ownership of complex projects from concept through completion.

This is an opportunity to step into a high-visibility, leadership-track role where you'll manage projects independently, expand client relationships, and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple offices. The position is open due to growth and will help relieve senior engineers so they can focus on business development and strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Lead mechanical and multi-discipline MEP projects for public and private sector clients, with a strong focus on HVAC design.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle: planning, budgeting, design oversight, client communication, and quality control.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple offices to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.
• Build and maintain client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand project scope or regional impact.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of teamwork and technical excellence.

What We're Looking For

• PE License (Professional Engineer) required.
• 8+ years of experience (12+ preferred) in mechanical/HVAC design for facilities; plumbing and fire protection experience a plus.
• Proven Project Management experience—public sector transportation project experience highly desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage projects with minimal oversight while mentoring junior staff.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate totaling annual of around $115K–$160K, paid overtime at straight time.
