Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business. As a Senior Contracts Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. In this role, you will support DoD Customers and be trusted to manage and resolve actions in a timely manner. How a Senior Contracts Manager will make an impact Manages contracts administrators Manages the negotiation and administration of assigned contracts, ensuring contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions Negotiates contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution Ensures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems What you’ll need to succeed Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related contracts administration experience required. Experience: 5+ years of related contracts administration experience Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts including FAR and DFAR. Effective administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Understanding of business acumen. Previous leadership experience. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Professional certification (e.g., CPCM/CFCM). 5-10 years of related contracts management experience. Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Location: This position requires working in our GDIT facility in either Falls Church, VA or Chesapeake, VA. Must be able to work in the office 5 days/week. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
