Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel position in Birmingham, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Job Details

• ICU setting within an acute care hospital in Birmingham, AL,
• Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM,
• Alternating weekend requirement,
• Cerner EMR used; experience required,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment,
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience required,
• Cerner EMR experience required,
• Valid US driver's license required for consideration,
• US Social Security Number required,
• Candidate must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position,
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration,
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but 2+ years of recent ICU experience is required
