As a Airport Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Officer in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Position Type: Full Time, Overnight

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• 20+ years of age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen , and physical exam.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
• Support orderly operations by giving directions, assisting with inquiries, and following post orders related to restricted areas, reporting procedures, and emergency notifications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
