The Equipment Rental Specialist is an inside sales role responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction/industrial equipment, serving as the company’s front line of contact to understand customer equipment needs, negotiate and place orders, and deliver customer satisfaction through a professional attitude at all times. Responsibilities Support telephone and walk-in customers with equipment rentals across construction/industrial categories. Understand customer equipment needs and negotiate placement of orders. Maintain strong administrative skills and ensure professional customer interactions. Education or Experience High School diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license required. Familiarity with various types of construction/industrial tools and equipment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Previous equipment rental industry experience. Strong customer service and telephone skills. Solid computer and administrative skills. Successful completion of the DOT qualification process preferred. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations. Physical Demands Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors and outdoors as required by the job.
