Direct Support Professional -Waiver

Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (Statesville, NC) We are hiring Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals in Statesville, NC. This regular position offers a pay rate of $15.00 an hour, a $3,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time employees, and a $1,500 bonus for part‑time employees. Openings are available for multiple shifts and schedules across the week. Responsibilities Assist with Health and Safety Procedures Assist with People Supported Development Assists with Person Supported Community Life Provides Support to team members and supervisors Assists with person centered plan and outcomes Assists with medical requests Assist with data collection and reporting Position Requirements At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license High School Diploma/GED Physical requirements: able to lift 30 lbs. regularly; lift a minimum of 70 lbs.; pull a minimum of 50 lbs.; squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop; use hands for finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; regularly stand and walk; demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring work on hands, knees, bending, standing, and lifting; vision: close, distance, and peripheral vision. Pre‑employment screening: complete criminal background check (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements, proof of employment history or references (if required). Positions that require driving must provide proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle if required for transportation.
