As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Clinical Area Patrol in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity while responding to security-related needs throughout the location. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and compliance with facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
