Development Assistant

MPAC is seeking a full-time Development Assistant to join its Development team in Morristown, NJ. Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer, with supervision from the Development Director, this role provides administrative and operational support for fundraising, donor relations, communications, database management, and special events. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include managing calendars and meeting logistics; processing gifts, acknowledgements, and database reports; maintaining constituent records in Tessitura; responding to donor and member inquiries; assisting with membership communications, appeals, invitations, emails, and newsletters; and supporting fundraising events. Requirements The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in development, fundraising, nonprofit administration, or a related field, with excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, while experience with Tessitura, WordFly, Canva, or other CRM and communications platforms is preferred. This is a full-time salaried position with regular hours Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
