Front of House Team Member — Bagel Boss Wilmington
Location : Wilmington, NC – Pier 33 Building
Schedule : Full-time or Part-time — early morning and midday shifts available
Pay : Competitive, plus tips
About the Role
Bagel Boss Wilmington is looking for Front of House Team Members to join our small, close-knit team and be the face of the shop. If you love customer service, move fast, and take pride in a perfectly built bagel sandwich and a great customer experience, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Schmear bagels and build sandwiches quickly and consistently, following our recipes and portions
- Take customer orders in person and at the register with speed, accuracy, and a smile
- Handle cash and card transactions and keep the register balanced
- Greet every customer warmly and create a genuinely friendly, welcoming experience
- Keep the front counter, case, and dining area clean, stocked, and organized
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and baking team to keep orders moving during rushes
- Help train new team members as we grow
What We're Looking For
- A naturally friendly, upbeat personality — you enjoy talking with people and making their day a little better
- Comfortable working fast and staying organized during busy rushes
- Prior customer service or food service experience preferred — but we're happy to train the right person with a great attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs (supply boxes, cases, etc.)
- Food handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
