This role offers the opportunity to advise major domestic and multinational clients on complex employment matters, including cross-border counseling, global policy development, workforce management, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing3+ years of substantive employment counseling experience, preferably international counselingExperience advising on employment policies, practices, and compliance matters across jurisdictionsBackground conducting employment diligence for corporate transactions, including cross-border dealsExperience drafting and negotiating employment, retention, and related agreementsDirect and applicable AmLaw 100 experience strongly preferredStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsExceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional informationSound business judgment and the ability to provide clear, practical guidanceAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative teamProfessionalism, responsiveness, and confidence when interacting with clients ranging from emerging companies to major multinational enterprisesKey ResponsibilitiesConduct employment-related diligence for domestic and international corporate transactionsAdvise clients on global and cross-border employment policies and best practicesDraft and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenants, retention arrangements, and related documentationCounsel employers on workforce transitions, reductions in force, and employee mobilityProvide day-to-day employment law counseling to U.S. and multinational clientsPrepare clear, concise memoranda analyzing complex employment issuesCollaborate closely with colleagues across multiple U.S. and international officesSupport clients with timely, strategic guidance designed to mitigate risk and promote complianceContribute to pro bono initiatives aligned with the firm’s global community-engagement missionWhy Join Us?This role offers a distinctive opportunity to join one of the world’s most prestigious global law firms and build a career at the forefront of international employment counseling.
