Base Salary - USD $135,200 to $216,320

This position qualifies for a $25,000 sign on bonus.

Ideal Candidate:

• At least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a Manager or Director.
• 5 years of experience working an RN in Labor and Delivery.
• California RN License

Our client, a 60-bed acute primary care facility, is seeking a Nursing Director of Labor and Delivery for immediate hire.

Primary Duties:

• Leads by example to promote excellence in resident care
• Demonstrates ability to delegate and achieve results through others.
• Demonstrates ability to work within the departmental budget
• Functions as a valued member of the administrative team.
• Demonstrates understanding of and ensures compliance with all state, federal and Joint Commission requirements.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience:

• 5 years experience as an RN
• 2 years supervisory experience at a manager or director-level
• Current RN License
• Current CPR certification
