Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
This is a 13-week contract position.
Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call rotating weekends.
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for a temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac procedures and be proficient in operating medical equipment found in a cardiac cath lab setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac diagnostic procedures, including PCI, Impella, and peripheral vascular angiograms.
- Assist in electrophysiology studies and other cardiac interventions such as IABP, thrombectomy, and implants.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment in the cardiac cath lab.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- ACLS and BLS certification are required.
- RCIS/RCES certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in a cardiac cath lab is essential.
