Federal Tax Manager

Job DescriptionManage the Federal tax return compliance as well as the financial statement accounting for Income Taxes. Preparation, review and consolidation of Federal tax return, including reviewing the required estimates and extension payments.Research and evaluating tax positions, review processes for information gathering and implementation of process improvementsRespond to requests from the IRS through our parent company including workpapers and other supporting documentationAnalyze the tax aspects of financial projections and forecastsPreparation and review of account analysis as well as accurate preparation of tax information for financial statement purposesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting. CPA, Master in Taxation or other advanced degree preferredKnowledge and experience in US Income tax7 or more years of Federal tax experienceStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAPCorpTax experience, CorpTaxAdditional Information$110K plus bonusSummaryType: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Consumer Goods
