Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Night Shift

Location: Arizona

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12 hour Night shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Job Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform triage and assess patients presenting with varying levels of medical emergencies.
• Provide appropriate care based on the patient's acuity and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license.
• 3 years of experience in a similar role is required; less experience will be screened.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required; TNCC is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
• Additional trauma level I or II experience is required.
