Position shifts include:Full-Time- 8a-4:30p with weekend and holiday rotationPart-Time- 8a-4:30p with weekend and holiday rotationOverview: The residential housekeeper is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of resident apartments and other assigned areas of the facility. Responsible for performing various housekeeping tasks to include vacuuming, trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, etc. Reports to Environmental Services Manager and Supervisor.Essential job functions include:Regular attendanceAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and holidaysRequires cleaning and dusting of various surfaces (counter tops, furniture, appliances, tile floors, etc)Clean, scrub, and sanitize bathroomsGather and dispose of trash using specified bags and / or containersResponsible for keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and organizedVacuuming of carpeting in apartments and assigned common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and resident laundry areasChanges resident bed and bath linens according to assigned cleaning scheduleAssist in the main laundry room and other areas of the facility when neededDeliver resident's personal laundry as assignedAll housekeepers MUST greet resident(s) and announce their presence prior to entering roomMaintain clean and professional appearanceAdheres to company policies and proceduresAttend departmental education and all required in-service training/educationMaintain confidentiality of resident/family and facility informationRespond to all fire alarms and assist in the evacuation of residents when neededCooperate with staff of other departments when neededRepresent the organization through professional demeanor and attitudeProvide quality customer service in all interactions with residents, guests and staffReport Housekeeping and Maintenance issue for work orderPerform other duties as requiredQualifications include:High School diploma or equivalent preferred, may be working towards high school diploma or equivalentTwo-years cleaning / housekeeping experience preferredBenefits and perks include:Career advancementCompetitive salariesComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life and disability insurancePaid Time Off, Company Paid Holidays, 401K plan with matching contributions, and moreAssociate recognition programs, referral bonuses, tuition reimbursement and associate scholarshipsEnvironment: The Village at Gainesville offers a highly professional, engaging, team-centered environment where associates can grow professionally, and have a positive impact on the lives of the seniors that we serve.
