The Hydraulic Pipe-Fitter plays a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of workholding-fixture hydraulic piping systems. Working primarily on specialized hydraulic projects within a small team, this position requires expertise in interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting hydraulic equipment to ensure efficient operation. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Hydraulic Pipe-Fitter contributes to the reliability and safety of workholding-fixture hydraulic systems without any travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install hydraulic pipes according to project specifications and safety standards
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work
- Perform hydraulic repairs and routine maintenance on equipment
- Conduct equipment testing to verify system integrity and performance
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system issues and implement effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pipefitting roles
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills with mechanical aptitude
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment
