Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Golden Valley, MN. This role is responsible for leading and coaching the sales team to achieve volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales process from lead generation through delivery, monitoring key performance metrics, and ensuring consistent execution of dealership standards. The Sales Manager will collaborate with finance, service, and marketing teams to optimize inventory, pricing, and promotions, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience. The role also involves recruiting, onboarding, and developing sales team members, conducting regular one-on-one and team meetings, and handling escalated customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. Qualifications Experience leading and developing sales teams, including coaching, performance management, and goal setting. Proven track record in automotive sales or a similar retail sales environment, with strong negotiation and closing abilities. Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to build rapport, resolve conflicts, and maintain long‑term relationships. Strong business acumen, including comfort with sales metrics, forecasting, inventory management, and profitability analysis. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present information clearly. Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM tools, and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email platforms). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on dealership needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Previous leadership experience in automotive retail or high-volume sales is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. #J-18808-Ljbffr
