STATUS: Full timeLOCATION: EP LabDEPARTMENT: RadiologySCHEDULE: Mon - Fri; 7-330, 8-430, 1030-7 or 7-530, 8-630SUMMARYPerforms and assists cardiologists in performing angiographic procedures, obtaining films of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures.RESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care. Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient serviceGeneral Maintenance. Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation.
