Warehouse Technician

BRIEF DESCRIPTION The Warehouse Technician is responsible for maintaining the warehouse and performs general labor. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains all equipment daily. (This includes cleaning and repairing) Checks in and out all equipment. Locks up the warehouse every day. Assists with Administration Staff in getting paper re-stocked, supplies and moving boxes. Completes an inventory for supplies needed in warehouse and submits to appropriate person for re-order. Responsible for all deliveries from various companies and distributing to the appropriate person. Maintains the outside of building, keeps parking lot free and clear of nails, screws, and trash. Handles all job-related items brought to warehouse (labeling, shrink wrapping and storing in a secure place) Maintains a list of all vehicles with BluSky tools and employee-owned tools. Gets equipment and supplies ready for emergencies. Point person for all facility needs (repairs, maintenance, and cleaning ex: bathroom and kitchen trash) Basic clean up at job. Available to work overtime and respond to emergency situations. General labor, as assigned on job sites. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This role has no direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Ability to perform manual, physical labor. Valid Driver's license with a clean DMV driving record. Able to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively. Construction background preferred, must be familiar with construction tools and equipment. Mechanical aptitude required, ability to trouble shoot equipment problems. Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, employees, and vendors. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
