Gynecologist
University of Iowa
Looking for meaningful clinical work without the demands of private practice or a high-volume hospital setting? Student health doctors enjoy comprehensive benefits including generous time off. There are very few after hour and on call demands. And best of all, you are encouraged to practice medicine the way it was meant to be, by focusing on the whole patient with ample time to truly address patient needs.
With opportunities for meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration and a focus on serving students first and foremost, Student Health is an ideal setting for gynecologists (or women's health physicians depending on posting) seeking both professional purpose and personal balance. You'll support students during a pivotal stage of their development and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact through preventive care, reproductive health services, and patient education.
Working alongside primary care and behavioral health providers, you'll contribute to a holistic, student-centered model of care that emphasizes accessibility, inclusivity, and evidence-based practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential services while fostering a welcoming, affirming environment where students feel supported in their health decisions and overall well-being. Opportunities for outreach and campus collaboration further enrich the work and extend your impact beyond the clinic.

Joining Student Health in the U of I's Division of Student Life offers a unique opportunity to be part of a vibrant campus community that supports student success, wellness, and engagement.
