Contract | Days | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the ICU setting
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic support devices, including Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Document patient care and clinical data accurately using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
• Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
