Job Description:

Dayton Children's is seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist for coverage from August 10 through November 16, 2026, to cover maternity leave. This hospital-based assignment involves working in the operating rooms of a Level 1 Trauma Center with a team of 22 anesthesiologists.


The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30, with an expected case load of approximately 50-60 surgical cases per day. The patient demographic ranges from neonatal to adult. The anesthesiologist will supervise CRNAs as part of a care team model but will not be responsible for preparing anesthesia carts.


This role requires the provider to be credentialed and have current licenses and certifications, including DEA and CSR. The facility will reimburse mileage, rental cars, hotel, and flights as needed.
