Quality Engineer - Taylor
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work with Watson Engineering Skilled in Taylor. This role supports the Quality Manager in managing customer requirements, corrective actions, and PPAP documentation to ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
Shift Patterns
- 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday (Some weekends based on workload)
Pay Rates
- 35.00 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Quality Engineer
- Must be able to manage daily quality operations including incoming inspection, scrap review, material disposition, audit prep, and technician assignments while maintaining accurate records and supporting improvement efforts.
- Must be able to conduct internal, process, product, and customer audits, verify compliance, prepare reports, and use measurement tools and inspection equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, respond to concerns, prepare documentation, and train staff on work instructions and quality procedures.
Desirable Requirements for Quality Engineer
- Nice to have experience with APQP, PPAP documentation, and PFMEA review.
- Familiarity with Minitab, SPC studies, and Gage R&R.
- Understanding of GD&T and drawing interpretation.
- Experience supporting audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
Role for Quality Engineer
- Lead PFMEA reviews, Control Plan development, MSA, SPC studies, and error-proofing activities.
- Respond to customer complaints within 24 hours and implement containment plans.
- Supervise incoming inspection activities and assign daily tasks to QC Technicians.
- Lead daily scrap review meetings and continuous improvement projects.
- Review and approve supplier and customer PPAP submissions.
Location: Taylor. This position is based in a professional manufacturing environment.
