Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Access Patrol in Pineville, NC at Amazon Warehouse , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.36 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast‑paced technology location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report access concerns or policy violations according to site procedures. Maintain a visible presence, provide directions and assistance, and report maintenance, lighting, and facility issues that could affect the location. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
