Pittsburgh area law firm is in need of an Accounting Support Associate to assist with day-to-day accounting and client accounts activity.

Duties to include:

• Enter check information and associated disbursements in accounting software
• Update and maintain client information
• Prepare operating deposits accurately and timely
• Assist with clean-up of outstanding expense allocations and credit card transactions
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 3+ years of like accounting support experience
• Proficient QuickBooks and MSOffice skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.
• Adheres to all government and industry regulations, including settlement disbursements and the protection of regulated sensitive data.
• Solid understanding of and adherence to Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles
• Maintain confidentiality of all Confidential Information of clients and of the company.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
