Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Benson Hospital | Benson, AZ | Travel Contract | 36 hrs/week | Alternating 3x12s | 6:00 AM–6:30 PM

Benson Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care across both the Emergency Department and inpatient units. This is a great opportunity for an RRT comfortable caring for a broad patient population in a Level IV facility.

Position Highlights:

Schedule: Alternating 3x12-hour shifts
Shift: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Provide respiratory care coverage for ED, inpatient, and outpatient services.
Facility includes 22 inpatient beds and 9 ED beds.
Level IV facility
One RRT provides coverage for the medical unit, ED, and outpatient services per shift.
Equipment includes:
LTV-1200 ventilator
Vision BiPAP
BAN nebulizers
Charting System: Medhost

Requirements:

Graduate of a CoARC-accredited or approved Respiratory Care program
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Minimum 1 year of experience
Current Arizona Respiratory Therapist license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
CPI required within 3 months
NRP required within 6 months
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must be comfortable providing coverage in both ED and inpatient settings
