As a Makana Market Deli Attendant, you will be a hospitality ambassador that will connect our guests to the delectable cuisine inspired by our diverse culture and island home. The care you pour into crafting beverages in our market, along with your attention to detail, and thoughtful service will help us showcase our passion and accomplish our mission of turning moments into memories.Hourly Rate: $23.60What you will be doing:Complete daily opening checklist and duties assignedDispense, prepare and serve menu items within the market Inventory, requisition, stock and maintain products within the marketReceive and process all cash and credit card transactions from guests in an efficient and accurate mannerBalance the point of sale system at end of shiftHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsSchedule: Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel. QualificationsYour experience and skills include:Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPrevious guest service experience is an assetStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamMust have good cash handling skillsMust possess basic computational abilityLicenses or Certificates: (*required prior to start date)TB Clearance required*Maui County Liquor Card required*Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification required*Additional InformationAll Candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States as defined in the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).
