We originated as part of an independent retail pharmacy, Tarrytown Pharmacy, which has been serving the local community since 1941. If you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you!**We are proud to offer:*** Competitive compensation* Comprehensive healthcare benefits* 401(k) retirement plan* Paid time off* Paid Holidays* An awesome work environment* **And More!****Duties & Responsibilities:*** Sort and organize completed prescriptions* Use Pharmacy operating software and Dispatch and Routing software* Use handheld Scanner to capture bar code digital information* Prepare packages for delivery: print Packing Lists, inspect for accuracy, stage, and route* Performing other duties as assigned## Qualifications**Required Skills & Qualifications:*** Ability to multi-task and work with other members of the shipping and distribution team as well as Pharmacists and Technicians* Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping* Ability to develop continuous improvements in the shipping department* Basic understanding of, or the ability to learn, locations and organizational structure of the company* Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of medications* Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions* Ability to complete projects in a timely manner* Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance* Must be able to speak and write English**Preferred Skills/Abilities:*** FedEx Shipping / Overnight Shipping Experience is a Plus* Experience working in a Commercial Pharmacy is a Plus**Physical Requirements:*** Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, speaking, listening* Must be able to occasionally lift bulk packaging weighing up to 40 pounds* Must be able to traverse close quarters easily*Tarrytown is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
