As a Locum Cardiology Physician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with heart-related health issues. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Provide expert diagnosis and treatment plans for heart conditions
- Conduct necessary medical procedures as per cardiology standards
- Collaborate with nursing staff and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients about heart health and preventive measures
- Stay updated on the latest cardiology research and practices
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology preferred
- Valid medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in a clinical cardiology setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Volume: 14-16 patients
EMR: Cerner
DEA required
Must be board-certified
Paid travel and expenses
