Job Requirements (Qualifications)

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S. (state-specific license as required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
• Robotics and neuro experience required
• Experience as a circulating nurse (circulate-only assignment; scrubbing not required)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Travel nursing experience preferred; strong perioperative assessment and documentation skills
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Responsibilities

• Function as a circulating nurse in the Operating Room for a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted and neurosurgery cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and perioperative staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Maintain strict sterile technique, infection control standards, and perioperative safety protocols
• Prepare the OR for procedures, manage surgical instruments and supplies, and document intraoperative care accurately
• Participate in rotational call as scheduled and provide timely response when on-call
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and support to patients and families throughout the surgical process
