The Retail Store Clerk supports customers and daily store operations in a general merchandise environment. This role provides checkout support, sales-floor assistance, and dedicated product consultations while helping maintain accurate inventory, appealing merchandise displays, and an efficient shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service, sales-floor assistance, and product consultations.
• Operate Shopify point-of-sale systems and handle cash accurately.
• Process returns and assist customers with orders, including online order fulfillment.
• Restock products, receive shipments, and conduct inventory counts.
• Create and maintain merchandise displays and support visual merchandising.
• Apply price labels and help ensure product pricing is accurate.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and maintain store cleanliness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level or at least 1 year of experience in retail operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash reconciliation.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising.
• Understanding of retail loss prevention practices.
• Strong customer service, communication, and product knowledge skills.
• Need to be able to lift 22 lbs
• Attention to detail and conflict-resolution skills.
