Acute Care Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year in acute care setting License: South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist License Certifications: BLS, NBCOT Must-Have: First-time travelers not accepted Description: Seeking an Acute Care Occupational Therapist for an inpatient role. The shift is 5 days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Weekend work may be required, possibly 1-2 weekends per month. No on-call duty is required. Holidays may be needed as scheduled. Travelers may be required to float within scope to meet facility needs. Travelers should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June to November, with peak activity in August and September. All required time off must be included upon submission. Candidates with a pending license will be considered if proof of application is provided. Travelers will not be cleared to report until the required license is active. This position is not open to local candidates within a 60-mile radius. Previous staff must have been separated for one year before returning as a traveler.
